How Sartor Studio collects, uses, protects, and shares information across the tailoring marketplace.

Last updated: May 23, 2026

This policy is a product-ready template for Sartor Studio and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production use. It explains the privacy principles the platform is designed around.

Information we collect

We may collect account details, contact details, role information, profile settings, tailor marketplace profile content, portfolio and order images, booking and order requests, garment details, measurements, design notes, fitting preferences, messages, replies, read receipts, edit and deletion markers, reviews, payment-related references, device data, and support correspondence.

Tailors may upload public profile images, portrait images, completed-order showcase images, specialties, garments, pricing, location, contact details, timelines, and studio descriptions. Clients may provide order information such as fabric choices, measurements, fitting dates, delivery notes, receipts, approvals, and reviews.

How we use information

  • To create and secure accounts for clients, tailors, admins, and superadmins.
  • To publish eligible tailor profiles, show marketplace listings, recommend artisans, and display ratings, reviews, completed work, and profile images.
  • To route orders, fitting notes, measurements, contact details, messages, replies, and completion approvals between clients and relevant tailors.
  • To generate order history, payment balances, receipt pages, review eligibility, and dashboard summaries for clients and tailors.
  • To improve marketplace quality, prevent misuse, and provide support.
  • To send service messages such as booking updates, account notices, and security alerts.

Messages, orders, and reviews

Sartor Studio includes real-time messaging. We store message content, reply relationships, read status, timestamps, edited markers, and deleted markers so conversations remain transparent and useful to both participants. Deleted messages may be replaced with a deletion notice instead of being fully removed from the conversation history.

Order records may include order numbers, tailor and client names, garment details, fabric selections, measurements, design notes, fitting details, payment status, completion requests, client approvals, and receipt data. Reviews may be shown publicly on tailor profiles after an eligible completed order has been approved by the client.

Payments and receipts

We store payment status, payment method, transaction references, payment purpose, checkout links, paid amounts, outstanding balances, and receipt information. Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Korapay, or by USDT verification flows. Sartor Studio does not need to store full card details or private wallet keys.

How information is shared

We share information only where needed to operate the service, such as showing order details to a selected tailor, showing tailor profile content to marketplace visitors, displaying approved reviews, processing payments, hosting uploaded images, processing support requests, complying with law, or working with trusted service providers. We do not sell personal information.

Uploaded images may be stored and delivered through Cloudinary. Payment providers may receive the information needed to create, verify, or complete a transaction. Admins and superadmins may access account, order, message, profile, payment, and review records where needed for moderation, support, security, or marketplace operations.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain order and payment records, support receipts, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and preserve conversation transparency. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can update account settings, tailor profile information, uploaded profile media, reviews you authored, and other editable information available in your dashboard. You may request access, correction, deletion, or account closure by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, receipt, or accounting reasons.
